The last Christmas card of Trump’s presidency is being met with skepticism as some say the photo of the president is actually from 2019 moment, leading some to speculate that he was photoshopped next to First Lady Melania Trump.

In the Christmas card, President Trump and First Lady Trump pose side by side in matching tuxedos inside the White House.

Melania said in the post: ‘Merry Christmas from President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. @realDonaldTrump & @FLOTUS are seen December 10, in their official 2020 Christmas portrait, on the Grand staircase of the White House in Washington, D.C.’

But one theory suggests that the photo of Trump is actually from a series of photos of him taken last year in London.

‘The biggest telltale for me is that there really is no contact shadow,’ New York Film Academy photo expert David Mager explained to Inside Edition.

‘And a contact shadow is when two objects are actually touching each other in really life. So I would expect to see a contact shadow underneath the feet where the shoes are actually touching the red carpet and that for me is missing.’

One theory suggests that the photo of Trump is actually from a series of photos of him taken last year in London. US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump host a dinner at Winfield House for Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, during their state visit on June 04, 2019

Mager continued: ‘There definitely has this feeling of sort of a paper cutout to the hairline for both of them, especially with the first lady. What you notice, if you zoom in close, there is really no contact between his arm and her jacket.

‘You would expect to see some kind of pressure where two things are pushing against each other, even a little ripple in the fabric or something like that.’

President Trump has been missing in action for 10 days, with his last public appearance being on December 12 at West Point.
